Mariana is a recent graduate from New York University where she studied political science and journalism. While attending university, she worked alongside other career professionals to develop diversity initiatives at the career center of her university, researching new ways to engage the school’s diverse population. She focused her studies on Latine rights, education, and dissecting global far-right extremism in the later 2010’s. Outside of her work, Mariana volunteers with a youth immigration center as a child advocate to migrant children, offering young migrants support while discussing their futures. When she is not working or volunteering, she can be found painting or scrolling through TikTok (for research purposes, of course).
